Welcome to the Nottingham Backgammon Club. We meet Monday evenings at The Horse and Groom, Radford Rd.
Players of all levels are welcome and we are always pleased to welcome new members. So if you haven't played before then this is the place to learn.
We meet on a monday's (except Bank Holidays) at 9.00pm.
The Horse and Groom has a very friendly atmosphere and offers some of the finest beers in Nottingham. Entry to the club is free of charge and players can bring along guests if they wish. If you can bring along a backgammon board.
A member of the club has developed a novelty form of 8 point backgammon,
played on a specially designed board with 8 sided dice.
It's worth noting that just as you can now play games in a range of online casinos, you can now play backgammon online. However, these backgammon games often don't have the same atmosphere or fun as when they're played in real life.
